These storage bags reduce the bulk of clothing, pillows, comforters and winter coats without requiring a vacuum cleaner. The self-compressing format can be packed at home or while travelling, including in places where a vacuum is not available.
Size and colour options
- Large: Measures 40 × 30 × 12 cm and is intended for clothing.
- Extra large: Measures 40 × 30 × 18 cm for bulkier stored items.
- Three-tier: Measures 54 × 42 × 60 cm for items such as comforters and coats.
- Four colours: Every size is offered in beige, grey, pink and blue.
- No vacuum required: Compression does not depend on a vacuum-cleaner attachment.
Preparing items for storage
Everything placed inside should be clean and completely dry. The source specifically cautions that compressing damp textiles can lead to mildew, so check each item before closing the bag.
Care for filled bedding
Do not leave feather or down items compressed for years at a time. The source recommends taking them out and airing them once per season so the filling has an opportunity to recover. Choose the bag size according to the volume and type of textiles being stored.
